Recommended for Grades 3-7
Did you know that plants have the amazing ability to regenerate from a single cell?
Students will learn how genetically identical plants are propagated through asexual reproduction, and will create their own “plantensteins” to take home.
Woodland Wonders
Recommended for Grades 3-7
This outdoor, hands-on field study in your school’s woodland and meadow areas affords budding ecologists the opportunity to collect and analyze data from the Northeast forest.
Plant characteristics, climate, forest structure, and the interaction of the forest's components will be observed.
Note: This workshop requires a pre-visit assessment of your school campus and is 90 minutes long, but can be held in two 45-minute sessions. Fee: $275 for up to 25 students
