All of our food is obtained directly or indirectly from plants.
After constructing plants from their various parts and discussing their functions, students will examine assorted fruits and vegetables to determine which parts of the plants they eat. (Then they will eat them!)
Everyone will then plant a vegetable to grow as a houseplant.
